Skin Peels is a gentle resurfacing treatment that removes top layer of the dead skin cells with clinical grade technology of AHA and BHA. It is a safe restorative cosmetic procedure by which the professional therapist will analyse your skin condition and recommend the suitable peel to your skin.

what do skin peels do?

During the skin peel the therapist will apply the skin solution to your skin layering as per the procedure of the treatment. The skin solution will peel away the damaged skin cells allowing healthy skin cells to grow and helps to reduce the sign of aging and other skin problems.

We offer Image Skincare’s Select I-Peel professional skin resurfacing treatments. This treatment program includes a customised clinical skin peel which is designed with highly concentrated plant derived stem cells technology that contain specific epigenetic factors whose function is to maintain self-renewal capacity of other cells. The research has shown that stem cells may protect the longevity of skin stem cells that will fight photo aging, decrease inflammation, fade dark spots, inhibit melanin production, soothing irritation skin, and reduce erythema. The skin solution has botanical lightening complex helps to brighten the skin and targets discoloration. FAQ's

Yes. I always perform a consultation prior to every single treatment. Most of the time we can proceed with the treatment as planned, however in some cases, if your skin is not in the right condition to receive the booked service, you will be recommended appropriate home-care products to use as well as one to two alternative treatments to get your skin in good enough condition that you will achieve maximum results from the desired peel. This is not the case for everyone, however if you are a skincare novice with a very basic routine, it is unrealistic to expect that you can go straight into a highly advanced skin treatment without prepping your skin first. skin Peels are not like having a facial and should not be taken lightly.
When you book your treatment, I will reach out to you with any specific information you need to be aware of and on the day of your treatment you will be provided with a copy of the post treatment advice.
skin peels do not hurt. Most clients experience mild to medium tingling, especially around the eye area. Numbing is not required for a peel.
Depending on the strength of the peel, you will experience mild to medium shedding around days 3-5 after the peel.
It is impossible to say how many treatments you will need, as everyone's goals are different and so is their skin. We recommend 3-4 treatments are required at 2-week intervals.
Results greatly depend on your skins condition, your homecare and how you maintain your skin with ongoing treatments afterwards. Results can never be guaranteed.
We always check all contraindications to see if there is any reason you would have an undesired result. Immediately after the procedure, the treated area will be quite red and occasionally swollen. This can last from 1-3 days. As the skin renews itself and sheds the upper layers, it's important to remember not to peel the skin off before it is ready.
